With a new generation of team members and an updated variety of digital services to market, the Creed website needed a refresh to reflect its new energy.

It went like this:

  • The design process began with a survey of team members and brand stakeholders. I then facilitated the assembly of survey results into a collection of common themes and attitudes which later drove the visual portion of design. During this phase I also conducted extensive research into competitor sites and brands, taking note of inspiration and chances to stand out from the crowd.

  • After the discovery phase, we moved into loose visual concepting. First, my team and I collaborated on our new logo, which then guided our wider branding for the web.

  • After creating a series of web-friendly branding directions, the focus pivoted to stress-testing my concepts and fleshing out final designs. In this phase, our choices were shaped by the findings of our original UX research.

  • As we decided on our final branding and web layouts, we polished the project further by ensuring we rebranded all assets and their corresponding use-cases. In this phase, my primary focus was the design of our web celebration of the agency’s 15th anniversary.
